Was it to hide, create a new persona or something else?

I'm always interested.

.

Are you asking what's in a name Granny?

I guess that which we call ourselves by any other name would smell as sweet.

That and a little more I guess Meli. It's a genuine interest. I've never changed my nick .. never felt the need.

My last incarnation on Fab was a completely different profile name to hide from a stalker. But time passed and I reverted to my original and not heard from her for a while (though realise next time she's d*unk or finished with a lover or bored she may decide it's time to hassle me again).

I’m back where I started on here with DB.

I’ve had a few temporary short lived iterations in the interim.

Often around events eg World Cup Willy or seasonal Banta Claus / St Knickerless etc

Some iterations were temporarily enforced on me, but that’s all long since resolved!

Our old one was really generic so once we got settled we tried to find a good name and landed on what we have

Because having black in a username meant certain assumptions were made. Duh, on my part.

Redhill

Just did it the once because no one knew (ok, many people didnt know) what iridescent meant and they kept calling me indecent

That was early on though- I’ve had my current nickname for over 4 years now. I like it better and it suits me better.

Prximity to Redhill aerodrome, now does that make you a GA pilot?

I considered a change when I came back to hide and have a different persona to see if I could attract the right ones instead of the wrong ones.

But I didn't think I could change the way I took photos well enough so just stuck with the original boring username.

I think some others do it to hide from former lovers or the mods where they had perm bans.

Just because it’s an option.

Like changing hairstyle or growing a moustache.

It feels different

Well.

I changed mine from Obi Haive when I bagged a hottie and became a dynamic duo.

Only ditched the last bit. Was too lazy to think of anything else.

The pilot’s hub cafe is closed now to the public so the tiny aircraft Mavericks can have the place to themselves…

Mine was really awkward to say at socials and clubs and people would get it wrong on here all the time. Just wanted something shorter and snappier.

Same here - I've always been "Nero", from inception to deception. Changing mine wouldn't make me smell any less sweeter. The thorn, however, might be just as sharp!

Just fancied a change to be honest and it sounds more like a couples username than our previous 3 did.

My name is what I am. Also they wouldn't let me have:

Athleticly bodied randy guy seeks female / couples to explore with and fuck until the end of time.

Apparently it was already taken

My poly persona will always be Steve. Since I created fab and have been on this journey I’ve felt free to be open as I am as Steve. And Stephen is my middle name so I feel like it is genuinely a part of me. Next stop: ‘Stephen pickle’ tattoo. I’ve discussed it at length with a fab friend.

SomewhereOnlyWeKnow

My original name when i returned here was something that i later realised was very generic. The bearded guy.

I then changed in to something that has a person behind it. Marc Polaris

Since our couples profile was slightly rushed, long story, we again have something that was a match up of our 2 names.

Recently changed it to something we took some time about.

For me the name behind her eyes means that while females get the attention on here more that there is a lot more going on that what you can see. Hence the recent bio rewrite as we settle into more of what we are looking for on this journey

Marc

My original name was Spoonful (Willie Dixon song).

My account got corrupted and I couldn’t log in so I had to find a new name. I had Jolly Wagoner (song) on my brain and chose that on the spur of the moment. I thought keeping the Jolly was going a bit too far.

It’s _aggoner due to a slip of the finger but hints that I don’t claim to drive a wagon.

Some people are just way too attached to a name on here.

Caucasian Ghandi was something I came out with, when talking about spirituality and selfless acts with a couple of friends, so this profile stated as something else, then changed it to 'Caucasian Ghandi'

Or, as a lovely lass thought, really into paper supplies and astronomy.

She also, watches far too much Sunny. Apparently.

No.

I used the same name and password on fabguys and that was OK.
