I started to buy music again. Vinyls. I may or may not pay ridiculous prices for ones I really want.

I also still look through cd’s in charitiy shops, which have rides in price thanks to the vinyl popularity right now.

Collecting records (what "vinyl) used to be called) isn't about the music. In fact, actually playing those records could even reduce their value.

Realistically collecting anything is "Pointless", apart from owning a collection... the collection is it's own justification.
