"So many! The Thing definitely. And Hellraiser, and The Shining, and a terrific French film called Martyrs (although it’s a real hard watch) the original Dawn of the Dead. And I really liked Doctor Sleep. " Doctor sleep was really good, I’ve heard people talk negatively about it, but I enjoyed it

"I do like a bit of horror. Not so much into the slasher movies but like an interesting horror. Visually I love "the cell" and "pans labyrinth" and the cenobytes from Hellraiser are awesome. " The Cell! I loved that movie for the visuals too! It looked incredible, like a Dali painting almost at points.

"Did anyone see The Human Centipede my what a fucked up film that was good knows were they got the idea to do that lol" I could be wrong but I'm sure I read somewhere that the idea was lovely based on the nazi physician Josef menegele who used to do experiments on prisoners

"The burning old 80s slasher film the kills on the raft were very gory for the day " Haha The burning is great perhaps for the wrong reasons some of the dialog and acting is hilarious especially Alfred

"Of course, there's classics like The Thing and Alien, but I tend to return to individual favourite scenes. Two which are stuck in my mind are the orgy scene in Society (moist body horror), and the psychiatric patient on the matress scene in Hellraiser II." Is that where he slices himself up as he sees beetles on his skin? Hellraiser 2 was great in places but got daft later on could have been so much better such a missed chance

I found it disturbing because (up until the skinless woman emerged from the matress) it was so 'real'. Meaning that it's entirely possible there are poor souls like that, who would cut themselves up to that degree.
