In our profile, we have written, "prefers white men"

I always check out all contacts but its no good wasting peoples time

Had a lovely chat with an asain couple, the chap - we may not meet as always a risk of us going to the same party/wedding etc

Best to be honest and not waste your or anyone elses time

I'm an Asian woman and I wouldn't be keen on meeting men who originate from certain regions of Asia. The reasons for that are my own, but I don't feel the need to put it on my profile. A few carefully phrased questions on PM's would suffice.

Am I alone in finding the whole generic "Asian" and "black" descriptors very odd also? Asia is a fecking huge continent with a vast array of different sorts of people. How in the fuck can you say not one single person from that continental origin is attractive? Ditto "black". Black people are from all over the place. Across the globe. I don't understand the bizarre giant, all encompassing descriptors and I don't understand how an entire race or continent can be found unattractive without further ado.

However what about the profiles that say black men only, no bi males, no bi females, no Eastern Europe the list is endless.

We are all allowed a preference it’s when the preference is based in hate it becomes a problem.

Oh that thread. Lol yes I remember that thread and that’s why I tried not to share my experiences with racism on here because- it’s was said then- it’s just convenient that I, a 26 year old black man from London, always had an experience with racism to bring up on a racism thread.

Funny I was talking to some friends about that experience over dinner today. Their response was to be empathetic rather than to call me a liar or get annoyed that I’m talking about race. On fab I gather that people don’t like when you talk about race so often but imagine how exhausting life is living it

. But fab has taught me one thing, that the world isn’t sunshine and rainbows and we’reways to tackling racism when you step outside your echo chamber.

I'm with Frank on this, he simply made the point that you can be racist and still fuck women of different races. Sl@ve masters are probably the perfect example of that, they generally hated black people and would treat them like shite but did not refrain from fucking black women. You can be a homophobe and fuck a gay or lesbian, you can be sexist and fuck the opposite sex and you can be ageist and fuck young uns or old uns...just like the ones who will message me saying they'll excuse me being brown, they make it up as they go along, nothing worse than weak people.

Just to be clear as well. No sex that occurred on plantation between [redacted] master and [redacted] was really consensual. And in this case I’d argue it’s a bad comparison for that reason. Often those acts were pretty clearly not about attraction. They were about power and control.

I agree that many racists sleep with Black and/or Asian men and women, even have kids with them, but the comparison feels like it misses a key component of that historical relationship.

I always feel partially torn on this. Regardless of their reasons and the place those reasons come from, when it comes to sex nobody should be pressured in anyway about who they choose they will or won't have sex with - certain exceptions like legal specifics. Preference or racist, it doesn't matter, sex is very personal and there should be zero pressure about anything.

If they don't want to, they don't want to.

But such a straight up blanket ban certainly does not sit right. And especially when it is felt they need to state it. It's as if there is some sort of hidden pride behind it.

I think nearly everyone agrees, we do not want to have sex with these people. Wanting them to stop wording their profiles in certain ways, applying stereotypes or experiences to entire racial groups or to acknowledge where these things come from is not the same as wanting them to sleep with us. I think we all agree they shouldn’t be pressured into sleeping with people they’re not attracted to but I don’t think that’s what any of these threads do?

full on it is!! It is a Tool that is being used!

I grew up around many events and many things were not even " Vogue " as now are,and labeled as such.

But many for their own mental weakness's amd allure on a plate are falling into the very trap " by Design " that is being used to weaken them and use them as a tool ie example the BBC fetish theory if we use as an example from Fab updates.
