Is the (upside down) pineapple symbol a thing in the UK swing lifestyle. We have come across it on social media and wondered if the UK uses it?

It's become quite popular but also with that it's no longer a "secret" code as non swingers are fully aware of its use much like Pampas grass.

That's how we see it as if we are aware then a lot of people not in the scene will be too

There's so much pineapple merchandise around these days it would just be impossible to tell if someone was wearing it for the swinging scene or not, so would be far from a reliable indicator.

Next thing you know people will be wearing pineapple adorned clothes.

Where will it all end?

Someone will be innocently perusing the middle aisle at Aldi looking for a garden gnome and some pot pourri whilst wearing a pinapple design t-shirt and next thing you know some random dude will be sneaking up and asking if they fancy a rummage in the frozen food aisle.

Dangerous times folks.......

Swinging has been been in the media spotlight a lot lately so there's quite a few "secrets and codes" that have been revealed in the vanilla world, is it the early stages of swinging and non monogamous relationships becoming "normalised" and socially accepted, who can say but if you want to be discreet then I would avoid any symbolic displays.

It’s like everything word gets around lol. But is I’m honest if I saw and upside down pineapple in a trolly in Tesco (other supermarkets are available) I’d just think it’d fallen over

I have a dress with pineapples all over it and didn't realise until my best friend pointed it out to me. My older children think it's hilarious

Sounds like most people have a similar experience with colourful clothing having pineapples on them and the symbols message has been lost as well as a laugh for those that know. We both had a laugh when realising L has done dresses with pineapples too and wondered who had seen and might have got the wrong idea (before we started the lifestyle) haha
