Torture Garden Alternative..?

Heya,

I hope someone here can assist us in this part of the forums.

While there are plenty of adult clubs in the UK, they all seem to be focused on offering a large number of play rooms and only have a small dance floor where the gents are often in suits/looking professional.

What we are after are clubs ‘north of London’ where mr and mrs can dress up in extravagant club wear without looking out of place. A club where we can dance for hours, get frisky on/off the dance floor and head off to the orgy room / side room when we feel like it.

We absolutely love going to Berlin as there are a few, with KitKat being our favourite. We also go to Torture Garden London every few months. Both are annoying to get to from Nottingham for just a single night though. Last time at TGwe lost track of time and only got 3 hours of sleep before we had to checkout and start our 3 hour drive back to Nottingham, definitely not enough time to sleep off a hangover - it was a horrible drive! TG's website states 'TBC' for a Manchester but have never seen one actually take place there. At least Manchester has a few non-5star hotels that let you checkout super late. Berlin is actually slightly more convenient given it’s a 20min taxi + flight than London.

We have struggled to find any clubs north of London that are remotely similar to these. Are there any clubs within a 2 hour drive of Nottingham that meet this criteria? Everyone we've ever met at TG or KK only knew of TG Edinburgh or London based ones.

There's got to be something closer to Nottingham, right? Please help us out or at least give us a recommendation for a hotel in London that lets us sleep until 4pm.

(It seems most guys shy away because of the dress code) Some said they would but guess what...didn't happen. I envy you going. I'd do the travel for it easily.

TG is great fun, you should totally go!

If you are anywhere between Nottingham and London you could always hitch a ride next time we go (usually once a month). Otherwise can always meet up by the club so you don’t feel like you are there alone. They host excellent events and the mrs has no issue dancing on her own when I need a break as everyone is super respectful.

Yes, first time round as a guy it can be a bit daunting as you don’t really know what to expect and uncertain what to wear and if you might stand out. Mrs luckily sorted me out and we even brought a second outfit just in case I felt uncomfortable. Essentially the dress code is: “would you ever wear this in a normal club? If no, then it’s a good outfit”. ?? People sometimes have absolutely amazing outfits that we strive to one day be able to compete with!

July 15th is the only day of all TG events in London that we can’t make it to.

45 people?! How did you amass such a big group? It always seems to me like no one on here even knows about TG, never mind seeing someone set an event for it on fabs.

We are primarily fetish and extreme exhibitionists, so tend to push the boundaries when going to ordinary swing events, but yes sometimes it can feel a little uncomfortable. That said, we are often stunned by how little effort some swingers make (de rigeur socks and towels)

I went to a few of the London ones about 15 years ago, it was great - lots of skin, bondage +lingerie on view.. Not found anything like it up north tho.
