The enigma of my face pic or my ethnicity

Hi everyone,

Wanted advice on getting any success here. Have been looking for genuine people for quite some time.

Have managed to meet only 2 people in last 6 months.

One of the things I have observed is that most ladies here do chat a bit until they see my face pics. I am unsure if it's my ethnicity ( I am British origin Indian). Or if my face is childish. It is certainly not an unattractive face, but may be most women don't like it. The thing is I understand that facial features are the first impressions and that counts the most. However, you can never rely on face pics to judge someone's personality.

Sorry for the rantish post, but I am wondering if people here have some advice for being a bit more successful.

I understand the 'lots of messages' theory and it is what it is. But still there might be something wrong I am doing. Happy fabbing

I don't have any advice for achieving more success but since you can't change your face or ethnicity I'm not sure what you can do anyway.

Two meets in six months is pretty successful in single man terms anyway

Hey, OP. Don’t take it personally. Whilst I have no doubt there are people out there who base decisions on anything around race, the vast majority won’t even notice. Some will even actively seek it!

So you’re probably just ugly.

Joking!!! Women and couple that don’t have ridiculously tight message filters are inundated. It’s probably that you just blur into the masses.

Stay positive and keep at it. Maybe try a club or social to get meeting people in a different environment?

Thats true that I can't change my face and ethnicity. It is what it is. But 2 in 6 months is after making a lot of effort in terms of time consumed in curating the right message according to their profiles here.

Just looking for some answers that might help me and others, who have similar experience.

Op, we are asain/south indian, Helen prefers people from a certain background - we are all different and different people want different things

it could be your face but equally, it may not be

Sorry, I meant 2 in 4 months then. It feels like 6 months. This is my only profile. And the two people I met are a bit far from me , so that doesn't help. I make extra efforts than other guys in terms of time. So, I am not sure if 2 in 4 months is a lot. I have been on AFF where there is a small footfall but I used to meet more people. But that was in Canada. AFF is not very popular in UK.
