I’d say to be half an idiot because a full idiot would be in bliss and not know any different. Half an idiot would suggest you’ll have some understanding.

It begs too many questions:

How much is half?

Which half?

What about the other half?

How full?

Not sure.

What I do know is that optimists see a half full wine glass as being half full. Pessimists see it as half empty.

And opportunists like me just pick it up and drink it whilst the other two are arguing whether it's half full or half empty....
