I've been there, done that several times.

Depends though on several factors, what your housemates are like for a start.

I'd be a great housemate- fancy renting a room?!

Be as loud as you like- I won't mind at all

Yes, it’s very common. I, my housemates, and many friends regularly had sex in our house shares during my uni years-often with people who lived elsewhere.

Brighton - even Hove!

House share we all had sex and once as a dare we left all the doors open so we could all hear each other which for us was rather wild.

I've done it, and walked past the other housemates.

I'm careful to be quiet and leave the toilet clean.

North West

We have our adult son and his GF living at home, in our bungalow. It's like a bloody house share and we have to plan sexy time or put a pillow over my face

I've never found it to be a issue, just put some music on or bury their face in a pillow maybe

So long as not screaming the place down during sex it’s fine.

I used to date a guy who lived in a large Victorian house that was split into bed sits, sex was never an issue.

When I lived in a house share, I wouldn't shag anyone else who lived there -- made the mistake once, and there was too much awkwardness avoiding them afterwards.
