"We used to have feather pillow's but have changed to the cheaper ones which we change quite regularly they are quite soft, I'm not sure if feather ones are great for your lungs if I'm honest." I get horrible allergies when I lie on the feather ones, and avoid as much as possible.

Most feather pillows still have some remnant dander dust on them, Northern nights don't, they are washed and dried extremely thoroughly.

Yes my daughter did too, we changed to the cheaper ones and she's much better, I think pillows are pretty important if you are spending all night breathing on them, so we buy the cheaper ones and change them a few times a year, if people are ill I don't think they would expect the pillow could be the problem.

"How do you like yours? Hard? Soft? Memory foam? Duck filled, goose filled or will any old cheap stuffing work for you? Or just boobs? Currently sat drinking coffee and answering work emails whilst watching one of the dogs snoozing using my favourite 'pillows' as a pillow. And yes, fucking jealous. ![]() ![]() ![]() Can’t stand memory foam pillows, they’re too hot and solid feeling. I used to have goose down pillows but the quills were always coming through the fabric and poking my delicate features. Also - they were advertised as luxury Hungarian goose down. What makes a goose luxurious? Is it one that lives in the biggest and best nest on the river being fed grapes by the normal geese?

I've got those allergies in spades (longer term house project will be purging all the carpet from my apartment).
