However deep the loss it leaves a hole that can never be filled.

The emptiness stays with you, the hurt never leaves and all the fornicating, alcohol taking is just a way of running from the horror that is your life.

On a more positive note a possible future with a lovely partner is always on the horizon.

Understand what you saying mate been there I just replaced alcohol and fornicating with burying self in work, still days are up and down some days I dream of past other days I’m excited at the thought of starting new chapter which someone when/if opportunity arises

Alcohol won't help! But i know what you mean, I'm going through the grief process as it's only 5 months ago it's the adjusting that's hard. Everyone is different how they grieve and cope etc sending you friendly hugs xo
