There should at least be a choice.

Different shapes for those with rounder faces. Different hairstyles. Maybe a beard option? How about Different colours that could signify political affiliation, which footie team you support or whether you're currently pasty white or sunburned? Maybe older looking silhouettes and younger ones? How about glasses or hats?

*or maybe the lazy buggers could just add a frigging photo of something - a knee, a butt cheek, a rusty sherries badge?

You shouldn't be allowed to message if you have a silhouette. Sure, submit a picture with a face mask, a hat & sunglasses or even a random dick pic. But to not even bother shows exactly how much effort I should put into replying.
