I think there's a certain level of awareness of emotion intelligence and where anger comes from.

It's an expression of a need their missing, so yes maybe a hug is what they need.

Patience and understanding goes a long way.

PS. I'm a slow driver, especially in built up areas. Too many impatient drivers around.

Honestly? Social media.

Social media gave everyone a voice, only some didn’t realise no one wants to hear theirs.

The rise in tribalism in all aspects of our life from politics to social and moralistic views is astounding. The art of conversation and debate has long since gone, now its a case of “I will actively seek out and argue with anyone who’s point of view differs slightly from mine”.

Of course there are those people who post utter nonsense who deserve a good pile on!

I’m a slow driver too in built up areas , especially if I have company. Sometimes I spot people waving thier arms around and turning purple, but I never bite.

I think there’s some truth on that. Prior to the internet only educated people debated. I remember going to the pub at 15/16 and the grown ups just talked about football , Eastenders etc. they were pretty much all in alignment - the referee was a wanker , and Angie had great tits.

And go out of their way to be offended.

Why? Part of it is internet engagement. It's a lot easier to upset someone than please them. But getting upset becomes an addiction of sorts.

Angry mobs are still a thing, piling on someone for saying something. Anonymity plays a part in that. And kicking shit out of someone means you never have to reflect on yourself.

But yeah this is an age of outrage for sure. It spans the political and cultural spectrum. The intolerant left is as bad as the intolerant right. It's certainly tiresome, one remark that someone can justify a reason for reaching for the pitchforks. It's not FAB, I mean it is but it's not just FAB.

Those people also have a history of believing that all criticism is directed at them and they are quick to react even when they are not the target.

They are not cut from the same cloth as those who are just offended on behalf of everyone else.

These are people who need some form of attention which often means making every story about them in their role as a professional victim.

Anxiety, fear, inability to express frustration, unable to articulate opinions, depression, arrogance. I've noticed all these traits in constantly angry people. Also some people use anger to intimidate, it stops questions being asked and keeps people in line.

It's something I noticed a while back. People who lack love are more angry/miserable. And rightly so to be fair. Love is what makes the world a better place. Orgasms are magical they make us feel alive and invigorated. Full of beautiful tiny little droplets of Ooommmmfffff! They drive us to want more.
