Dont know, i would assume a guest. I thought it was sunday and wondered why he had an appointment on sunday, then i found out it was monday

Well, to answer all those kind wishes from everyone, here is my news.

I spent some 4 hours at an excellent eye dept in a hospital today and had a whole series of tests done. My eyesight medical history has included major surgery in the past, which has always meant that such an occurrence that happened over the weekend could have had serious consequences!

But all is well. Yes, there is some internal bruising, to be expected when someone uses your head like a punchbag!

But all my fears were unfounded; I have to have a check-up in a fortnight, just to make sure everything has settled down ok.

The guy who attacked me is being dealt with by his company; their MD is appalled at his employee's behaviour and is hugely embarrassed over what has happened. They are coming to see me tomorrow.

My company has fallen in 1000% behind me and has lodged a complaint at the highest level.

Someone mentioned in a post that I should get a new job? I've only been there 3 weeks so far! Give me a chance to get settled in!

Once again, my sincere thanks for all your best wishes and thoughts; I was really touched, but I'm back on here and not going away!

You ain't getting rid of me that easily!

I never saw the original post, is their a reason why the aggressor is being dealt with by his employer and not the police. Get him charged with assault.
