How easily do you make decisions? Are you a quick "yep that's what I'm doing" sort of person or do you dither about a bit, maybe throw in a healthy measure of overthinking?

Except when it comes to dates. I’m excellent at making decisions of things to do for dates.

evaluate all possible outcomes…

Weigh up pros cons and consequences…

Then go round in a few more circles..what if…

On an impulse day all caution is out the window and it’s so now think later…

It really depends on what it is.

Sometimes I can make really impulsive decision. Sometimes they might even not be the best decisions.

I am ruled by my heart and it's a liability sometimes.

Other times it can take me a little longer, my head fills with doubt but inevitably my heart wins the battle.

I don't believe in regrets, once I decide to do something there is usually no stopping me.

I also think that bad decisions often make the best stories

Terrible. I’m incredibly indecisive.

However, I also don’t like being told what to do.

Mèlí, I dither and ruminate but not necessarily overthink things. Some things are worth pondering for without the fear or feeling that it's been 'over thought' to any detriment.

Sometimes I just make a quick judgement call and dive straight in.

hmnn depends doesn't it? If it's you asking me for advice on an decision, then I'm quick and decisive.

Trying to coordinate a shirt, tie and jacket, meltdown.

Some decisions take seconds, others weeks.

I am the full range! Including the second guessing the decision I’ve made after I’ve done whatever I decided

Oh dates I'm a nightmare for deciding. :D Also, because it's you and I think you'd appreciate this...

I’m the same - work is no problem because there are people to ask whose opinions you trust, there’s data to look at too. Easy.

In my personal life, doubt is never far away.

I overthink it, overthink it some more, change my mind several times, then have a mind block where I can't think of anything then probably end up doing nothing.

Depends. Things that don't interest me, like clothes, I will decide very quickly. Something technical or a new toy/gadget I will ponder over and research. That said I have made the odd impulse decision because it seemed too good to miss and he/she/they who hesitates shits out.

I’m absolutely terrible, I get stuck in a choice paralysis type of scenario when there’s too many options. Weirdly though it only applies to my personal life and more so when the choice is trivial like what to have for a snack. The more important the decision and especially when it comes to work life, the less difficult it seems to be. How strange is that ?

Surrey mostly when over

Depends on what the detail of the decision to be made is really.

I can be somewhat gung-ho and make an immediate decision.

Or I can cogitate and take a good wee while.

Sometimes I don’t think at all

And I can sometimes overthink! xx

Bad decisions really can make the best stories Wyld.

I've started embracing fuck it a bit more. I'm ruled by my heart as well (shocker) but life is good when you just go for things. Rather than thinking about the minutiae and not getting out there. x

Prone to over thinking to my detriment.

Now try to use the 10 second, minute, hours, day, months, years rule.

At which point will said decision still be a concern, dictates when I stop caring too much.

And if in doubt, shout #yolo with no sense of irony, in your 30's.

Maybe throw in a yeet too. Mention being gucci. I don't know anymore.

Depends what it is really , small stuff like food choices in restaurants I satisfice, choose instantly.

Big stuff I deliberate and seek advice from people I trust , often set myself a time limit , but if I don’t have all the info I’ll happily extend the deadline. It’s knowing what is is I need to know to make the decision that matters

Yes, pondering doesn't mean overthinking does it? I thought I'd amuse myself and post opposing ends of the scale but sometimes it's good to ponder and make sure yep, you're happy with that decision. I did that recently. Not overthought something, just sat with it for a bit and then decided that was the best call to make.
