"I know It’s a funny post but who else has problems with family members? And how todo you deal with it" I cut all ties to them and avoid any gatherings they might be at.

"Cut ties and avoid, those that matter stick around " Exactly and people say a relationship should be 50/50 weather that be family or partner...bollocks A relationship should be 110/110 give your all, and if it's one sided then fuck them, jab them in the throat

"I look after my mum. She’s 77, has COPD and more recently bouts of depression that lead to not eating or looking after herself. Things got bad after my brother died last year. I get frustrated when she’s difficult, doesn’t take her meds or gets pissed instead of eating. I deal with it simply by never forgetting who she is, what she did for us. She can be a pain but I’d never want to be without her. She will have to move in with me eventually and that’s fine. " God bless you mate and your mother, must be difficult for you We only get one mother don't we, she raised you, now it's your turn to take care of her, If you ever need a friendly chat mate let me know, cause I bet no one has ever asked how your doing or if your okay

"I know It’s a funny post but who else has problems with family members? And how todo you deal with it" I think mostly because of the close bond you have been born into. Sometimes that bond doesn’t translate into actually getting on with each other. Which is no surprise really as life is like that generally. My most helpful piece of advice is be firm with your own boundaries. If you don’t want to be close with them then don’t be. There’s no rules to say you have to be. Hope it works out OPs xx

"I know It’s a funny post but who else has problems with family members? And how todo you deal with it" Easy, just ignore them, if my family want me for anything, they message the wife because they know they’ll get no response from me. The mr

She phones me if anything happens and feeds my mums cat if my mum has to stay with me to get over a rough patch. My mums also assigned to a special unit that assist with attacks and flare ups. We have good Doctors and hospitals here in Bedford Thank you for asking and thank you to the gentleman for his thoughtful reply. Love to mums everywhere x

"I'm kind of the odd one out and most of my family always resented me for being different. I cut the most toxic family members out of my life, and keep contact to a basic minimum with the others who I do not have a good relationship with. As sad as it is, family isn't always this wonderful network people like to make out and sometimes you're better off without them depending on what it is that has happened." I'm the black sheep also, they just don't like it cause I tell them the truth family or not I'll be straight with you and people don't like it
