Right in movies and shows after sex people will have a smoke and I've been wondering WHY?! I'm just confused about it

Because its what a lot of smokers do.Its an addiction to nicotine which thankfully i managed to kick last year.

Just has first thing in a morning my routine was strong black coffee and a cig before anything else.

Also when the ban came in for advertising tabacco products movies was exempt ,so the tabacco companies invested money in movies for product placement and showing people smoking though its no longer done in some countries
