If you're fit, it means that you are have a, well, fit body. Great, you're fit but that's about it. If you're hot, it means, i'd do you. It means when I look at you my temperature goes up and if I don't control myself I will get a proper erection. You're hot= you are very fuckable regardless of size or shape. You're fit=you are fit but I don't necessarily think you are fuckable.

I get handsome, hot sometimes, attractive, good looking mostly.

My partners tell me I’m beautiful.

It all means that they see me and they see good about me even if it’s just on the exterior.

In terms of when I call someone else hot? I’m always referring to their body temp. Always.

In my twenties I was told I was fit and now in my fifties I’m apparently hot. But what does it all mean? Do they just mean that they can tell I’m perimenopausal?

Hot is much, much better than fit. Fit is purely physical. I was at a social last night and there was a fit young lady, but wild horses wouldn't have made me want to speak to her because she just gave off a cold I love me vibe. Whereas I spoke with two couples and both the ladies were hot in a different way.

I am a bit saddened that so many female posters are so jaded that they cannot just take a compliment at face value. Life is so much better if we are all a little kinder to each other.

It is meant as a real compliment and yes it does mean I enjoy being with you.

I have been called handsome, too handsome (whatever that means?), and a beautiful man. I’ve never been ripped but always reasonably fit. Never been called hot, I think that’s a generation/ era thing.

Its just a compliment which I say thank you too but it never goes to my head.

Nothing beats staying humble vanity and arrogance has always been the biggest turn off for me so never do I carry those traits.

I'm fully capable of offering a compliment to others If I genuinely see fit to compliment I will.

Shouldn't do anything that is not coming from the soul or heart
