Earlier in the year I broke my arm which has been pinned and plated it has left me with a 9 inch scar along my humerus. Are scars a turn off?

Scars are definitely not a turn off, just showing the world you went through something. Embrace them if you can but I don't know many people who are put off by scars personally.

I have scars on my arm people always ask about, never seems to put them off though.

I met a guy who had loads, I find it's interesting and also a level of trust when they tell you about them.

Made him even sexier tbh.

"No. Life happens including scars "

This! I broke my knee, badly, in 2018, had to have 2 surgeries: first one to fit the ex-fix which I nicknamed Igor the Brute as it looked like a medieval torture device. He left me with some deep round scars from where the pins went in. Then the 2nd surgery left me with scars on my calf and my shin. Scars are part of life though. And I never had any issues with them in clubs or on meets.

I have a scar on my tummy but it's a fortunate event that caused it. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for my scar

Don't worry about it. To some they may be a turn off, to some they may be a turn on. To most they will be indifferent.

Don't worry about it, they are a part of you. You can't really do much about scars. I have scars and a birthmark, if that's a turn off to people then oh well. Embrace them in your own way and for yourself, not others!

When you can, get a tattoo that uses the scar in the design, if the visible aspect is off putting to yourself.

Scars are part of us either internally or externally. They have a story, it's upto you if you trust people enough to share that story. They are intriguing and definitely don't put me off.

If someone gets turned off by your scars that's their issue not yours, don't let it get to you there's plenty of people on here who either don't care if someone has scars or find them more of an interest

I’ve got two scars on my body. One is from washing up and one is from picking flowers (genuinely). I’d say we’re in the same bracket so you wear that bad boy with pride.

That doesn't sound very funny at all...I'm sorry it's like shit joke tourettes...

I have the same on my left arm. I sevre fracture dislocated my elbow and snapped my arm in half snowboarding.

I have a large scar from it, 2 plates and about 14 screws.

I have no issue with scars, I think they're interesting, like a beau tapestry of someone's life.

I've got a few others. I don't think about what other people think of them or whether they're a turn off and frankly don't care.

I read last night that customs once seized a bin liner from someone that had an arse in it. Literally. Someone had angered a drug boss and had his arse macheted off in one perfect lump.

Imagine that scar!!!

An old friend of mine, on our first naked meeting, was sitting on the edge of the bed and covered his stomach with his hands.

He looked embarrassed and said I have some scars on my stomach from surgery.

I gently pushed him back onto the bed, moved his hands and kissed his scars.

It's just dents in the skin.

I have one of those. The result of major surgery being stitched up by trainees in a university hospital.

But I'm alive, despite my best efforts and flatlining for a while, so I'd much rather have an ugly scar than to have missed out on all the life I've lived since.

I have plenty of others too. It's good fun at times telling the stories of how they came about, especially when some were just a result of complete stupidity on my part rather than any tales of heroic actions or exciting incidents with good back story.

One was caused simply by my brother throwing a rock at my head as a child.

Yes!

Though Evel Knievel said it first.

"Bones heal, chicks dig scars, pain is temporary, glory is forever"

Paraphrased by Murdoch with

"Bones heal, chicks dig scars, and America has the best Doctor to Daredevil ratio in the world"

Followed by Shane Falco/Keanu Reeves

"Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory lasts forever"

Big Scars are just Epic Scratches.

.

No one is going to be impressed by a scratch from Tiddles.

A major scar says, "I fought a Sabre-Toothed Tiger. He's not here anymore. I am. Make of that what you will."

Most woman hate scars and stretch marks but my wife has become to embrace her stretch marks. Now on holiday she will walk around with her bikini on and even meeting guys we invite round she used to cover up now if they don’t like it they can go and miss out on some quality fun. Scars and stretch marks and just stories waiting to be told

Not at all on other people but I absolutely hate my ugly scar on my stomach. Hence why I have it on show on some of my public photos so people can say no before we meet.

I can fully understand how it would turn someone off, hence why I prefer to keep sexy underwear on when I'm fucking with other people.
