My Last Ever Thread

Today I've been in a rather tiring Embroidery Workshop.

The sewing is coming along nicely but as the working day draws to a close my last thread gives me much anticipated relief.

I wonder how many others are doing similar things: closing down your laptops or downing your tools and whatnot......and looking forward to the evening...?

After a 12 hour day, door to door, yeah, I'm looking forward to relaxing now.

Switching off after the fact is tricky though, tomorrow awaits and I know exactly what needs to be done. Disconnection is the difficult part.

Still, embroidery, you sauve mother. I'd turn myself into a human pin cushion, much to many generations of my families chagrin.

Just got into the car, contemplating the day and will be heading off into the sunset shortly. It's been a LOOOOONG day!

Oh no, I'm so sorry. Sending hugs. Remember what a happy life you gave him - he'll have known he was loved, and in many ways that's all a dog needs!
