To answer the OP, many acquaintances and social friends. Actual friends who I could call up if I needed something? I'm actually really lucky and now probably a dozen.

I also found a small family.

I might not talk daily to them, we might not see each other every month, we might bicker from time to time but I know that whatever happens they'd be there. Show up without question.

I'm really lucky to have those people and I think our friendship transcends fab.
