Humans are bastards. There's no possible explanation of hurting an animal other than they are scum, makes me angry.

It's nothing new. Been going on for centuries.

Dog fights, Bull fights, Cockerell fights etc

Even horse and dog racing is abuse to some level. As are/were circuses and marine mammal shows.

Then we have hunting for sport.

It is no longer shocking.

I read about that this morning and was absolutely shocked at how depraved some excuses for human beings are. What was even worse was that some of the expected sentances they could receive were in my view far too mild. I think they were talking about a maximum of seven years in Britain and a matter of months in Indonesia where the filming took place. Absolutely sickening and I hope anyone in Britain caught paying for this is publicly exposed.

It doesn't surprise me at all, just look at the news to see what we can do to wach other for free.

There is always someone willing to pay for something, regardless of what it is.

Abuse is still abuse. Point being while it's on a lower scale, it shows the different extremes for what kind of abuse people are comfortable with. And the level of enjoyment they get from it.

I'll happily ride a horse, hurt a animal on purpose for enjoyment I won't do

And crime is crime but I don’t suppose anyone would dream of punishing a person who steals a mars bar from a shop in the same way they would punish a serial rapist.

There is a different level of cruelty involved here.

Though infuriatingly I still have not found the full story. I just saw a headline news bulletin while at work and could not hang around to hear the full report!

Unfortunately some people are horrible.

I would quite happily go to jail if I came across anyone abusing an animal.

Did you know you can go to Prague and blow up a cow with a rocket propelled grenade. Now if that's not sick, I don't know what is.

Much of the meat we buy in the supermarkets is from abused animals.

The meat industry is by far the biggest killer of animals around the world. It’s also responsible for relentless, routine cruelty to pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, geese, and other animals on farms, who suffer for every minute of their short lives.

The story is similar for all animals reared for their flesh. Females are repeatedly forcibly impregnated. Babies are torn away from their mothers, mutilated, and kept in filthy and severely crowded conditions. Then, often when they’re only a few months old, they endure a stressful and terrifying trip to the abattoir, where many are ineffectively stunned and therefore killed while still conscious.

What do people think about this tucking into this evenings dinner

I can tell you that I never impregnated any sheep on the farm I grew up on. The rams took care of that themselves, horny fuckers they are too

Polo ponies work hard but are treated well & every winter go wild when let out in fields to chill.

All the South American grooms I,ve met treat the ponies really well.

Horses, run, canter, sprint, fight

& bite etc in the wild & are pack animals. POLO does not hurt them.
