Does anyone else struggle with this. Even when I really want it I just can’t get my body to relax. It’s really spoiling my fun and I don’t know how to make it stop

Have you spoke with your GP?

There is a medication for this it can make a world of difference. Don't suffer in silence. You deserve to be pain free.

Really? my gp is the one who explained what it was but all he did is tell me I have to work on relaxing. I swear some gps do it on purpose

Do you know the name of the medication, I feel like it will be harder for them to fob me off if it sounds like I know what’s available for it.

The cream is a numbing cream. Rubber dilating dildos and relaxation techniques are recommended.

Lovehoney sell dilators you can use that go up in size to gradually learn to stretch/accommodate more inside without it being painful. Might be worth trying that on your own, get yourself nice and relaxed have a bath etc and use plenty of lubricant. Honestly I would also recommended masturbating more, try clit stimulation first and hopefully if you orgasm from that it will relax your vaginal muscles and make it easier for you to open up so to speak.

I'd also suggest you ask to speak to a different doctor he doesn't sound particular helpful.

Estradiol Vagifem. I think this is one of the medications which can assist. Go back to your GP and ask for help. Don't give up until you have.
