Yeah quite a few films actually can't be be asked to name all but most of the Fast and Furious films and any film that involves time travelling

Enemy starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Where to begin with this one?

Well it involves him discovering that he has a doppelgänger (or does he?) and lots of bizarrely interjected references/images of spiders and spiders webs throughout the running time…

The ending is truly one of the biggest, ‘What the actual fuck??!!!??’ moments that I have ever witnessed in a film (and not in a good way either!)

Ostensibly, I am a bloody philistine though, as the film is a metaphor (according to its cult fan base at least).

Well, if this is indeed the case, then not only is it bloody weird and confused film, but I’ll hastily add that it’s bloody crass and pretentious one to!

Good Lord no! It was absolutely terrible in my opinion

The most I could say for it is that it was competently made at least and Jake gives a very good, intense performance.

I can really only recommend it to witness just how utterly confusing a movie can be.

The ending as I mentioned previously, will leave your jaw on the floor guaranteed

Whereas Enemy got it all wrong as a dreadfully confused mess, I would definitely highly recommend, Predestination starring Ethan Hawke however.

The finale and the subsequent explanation and tying together of all the preceding events in the film prove to be deliciously exquisite in its sheer complexity

Another confusing (but sadly, not in a good way) one: Inception.

Christopher Nolan strikes again with an all star, big budget, CGI bloated and frankly grotesquely self indulgent and pretentious mess which is very clearly, HEAVILY inspired by the film, Dreamscape from 1984 starring Dennis Quaid (which was actually a much better movie in my opinion)

Interstellar is probably the 'simplest' to follow but still requires full concentration for me followed by Inception, although admittedly, I have only seen it once. Tenet is the one which I don't really follow. Watching again with subtitles may assist my understanding.

Films which genuinely confuse me are the Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises. They seem to meander and wander.

Really? I find the stories of those easy to follow but the Harry Potter books make it way easier to follow

And what better example than his cult ‘classic’ Eraserhead.

It’s certainly weird (but really not very wonderful) and highly confusing.

It does nonetheless boast a sizeable fan following….apparently…

I LOVE Tenet, but then I love everything Christopher Nolan does. Tenet takes a few goes to get your head around completely, but if you can't be arsed with that, there are actually diagrams that follow the characters back and forth through the time line.

I can certainly recommend a cult horror series for you if you enjoyed Erasurehead:

Basketcase 1, 2 & 3.

The touching story of conjoined (but subsequently separated) brothers Duane and Belial.

The films are really rather batshit crazy…and quite fun

Oh Mother! is a special kind of what the hell. I loved it but it was very disturbing.

For me, it's a bit of an indie film - I'm Thinking of Ending Things. I loved ESofSM and Synecdoche, New York so thought I'd give it a go. Maybe I was too tired but I really struggled.

A confusing horror classic: Don Coscarelli’s, Phantasm.

The plot involves the nefarious, nocturnal activity of grave robbing and sending the corpses to another dimension whereupon they are transformed into aggressive dwarves…..or something like that…..There’s also a seemingly sentient, metallic ball that has a propensity to drill into peoples bonces.

There’s even some boobs in one scene to.

I ended up enjoying Sucker Punch once I understood what's going on.

Inception I didn't find confusing to be honest, thought Memento was more confusing but I do enjoy his movies
