In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

You mean the little pad things you stick on stuff so they don't damage other stuff?

I use them regularly.

Erm... I learnt that blue paint does not come out of a white t-shirt with soap and water despite it being water based.

North West

Not so much learned/learnt, as reminded, but that no matter how many signs are placed on public transport and no matter how far in advance you pre book the wheelchair space, some twat with a suitcase or large dog will block your access. And no matter how long you sit and wait for a lift, it will always be full of people and none will be getting out at that floor.

Ha, I've never particularly cared for learnt so I choose not to use it. It doesn't sound right in my head. It never has. I've never used it in a forum post, in papers, emails. Still have the same qualifications.

I think that's part of the joy of language, the way we adapt and borrow and create something new with each interaction. We don't have to stick religiously to following one particular way of doing things.

Or tl;dr? Fuck it.

You know about them?

It's honestly blown my mind. I'd never seen them used before. Well, never in that way. It's just...

Water based paints are a dick to remove from fabric.
