Southwick

After the music threads last night which I thoroughly enjoyed....just wondered if anyone has recently rediscovered a band/artist. For me Stereophonics and Nils Lofgren.

I heard Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonalds 'On My Own' whilst in the car today and was reminded how much I like that song.

The other song I am digging at the minute is Eva Cassidys version of 'Early Morning Rain' - it appeals to the romantic drifter in me.

There was a song used recently on an advert, my partner was amazed that I could sing the words as he had never heard it before. It was one of my fav's and I bought it on 45.

Excuse the spelling

Ca Plas Pour moi ( Plastic Bertrand)

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Love Sculpture - check out Farandole on Youtube.

Atomic Rooster - check Devil`s Answer on Youtube

Curved Air - check out Vivaldi on Youtube

Skadows - check out Apache on Youtube.

First two has helped me with my memories of school in the early seventies and the last one helped me find loads of Ska and Reggae stuff I`d forgotten about and helped discover more I hadn`t heard of!
