I have homemade stew.... I have also made some soda bread to go with it... Oh and a chocolate fudge cake.. though I am keeping my hands off that...

Early dinner tonight as I did not have much for breakfast.

It was a big plate of spaghetti, with a sauce made out of creme fraiche, chorizo, olives, mushrooms, broccoli, garlic, tomato puree, grated Parmesan and chopped parsley, it was lush.

The cat said so at least as she licked the plate.

Am being looked after by some friends, had some scrummy Mexican beans and bacon fir lunch, and just had a mahoosive serving if fish pie

We are off to see les mis later so wil have pick n mix for afters

Just made homemade pizza topped with shrimp, clams, mussels, crab meat, smoked salmon, monkfish, garlic, mozzarella and a little chilli... Yummy!

no food tonight

i had a big and late lunch

fresh ciabatta cut into strips

3 dipping oils (sundried tomato, garlic & parmesan, hot balsamic)

shropshire blue cheese, applewood smoked cheddar and lancashire crumbly + caramelised onion chutney

lightly salted kettle chips

followed up by a chocolate pecan tart and a nice big cup of fresh coffee

lovely !

Seems I'm not alone in making a stew. Casseroled beef slowly in the oven with onions and carrots. Served with jacket potatoes and savoy cabbage. Didn't have dumplings with that but next time I will. Dessert was apple pie and custard.
