If you had to give an unprepared 60 minute presentation on anything, what would it be about?

Black British experience with racism predictably. It’s all about all I can talk about for a long time.

The older I get and the further we descend into the environmental and societal crises that are already upon us, the more I think that capitalism cannot continue to be the dominant mode of organisation if humans are to continue to exist. Maybe it will be socialism’s chance again soon…

Or

Yes yes yes! A huge advocate too. I breastfed for 4.5 years, tandem fed for 3.5 . I'm a breastfed child, with memories of it (no dirty and rude questions/remarks please guys).

My HV kept recommending me to be a peer supporter so I passed my training and did that in my spare time for a while . I think a lot of people underestimate the body at producing the right composition of milk little one needs and how it changes throughout the day and as little one gets older. Changing to take in temperature fluctuations, if LO is ill or having a growth spurt etc!

Aaaah, make me stop

"If you had to give an unprepared 60 minute presentation on anything, what would it be about?"

It would definitely only be about 20 mins presenting and lots of questions and discussions afterwards as otherwise it’s not interactive enough but probably about the decline of Nazi Germany and why Hitler really lost WW2 rather than the allies winning it.

Ahh I love it!!!

I almost went for a volunteer role like this but then lockdown happened

I had such a massive struggle with breastfeeding; I had D-MER (Dysphoric milk ejection reflex) and I felt suicidal, depressed and anxious whenever I fed my son. I also constantly got thrush on one nipple, and it constantly hurt like a bitch for about eight months. Then after about two years I began to feel touched out at night whenever I fed him, so I’d feed him to sleep then go throw up

But it’s so worth it and SO important!!
