Anyone know which pump I can buy for a 10x2 inner tube?

Will a normal bike pump fit?

Depends upon which type of valve is fitted.

The size of the inner tube doesn't matter, it's the type of valve (Schrader or Presta) that'll differ from tube to tube but whatever pump you have, you can get an adaptor for the relevant valve type.

Depends on the valve type

Scrader are like your car, presta are a little more finicky.

Most pumps now will do both

We don't know what type of valve it is, just that it's a bent valve.

You would think they sold the pumps/adapters with the inner tubes.

Is it a long pointy valve, or one that looks like a little stubby screw thread? Stubby screw thread will be Schrader and pointy will be Presta.

We've bought a pump that fits both types of valve.

Fingers crossed

Stubby screw head. I think we've found the correct one.

It's probably a scrader, like a valve on a car tyre. Prestas are usually found on road bikes and tubeless. A generic foot pump will probably do it

Schrader then, bog standard. My wheelchair currently has one Schrader and one Presta

Did it come like that?

Took a bit of getting off the tyre too lol

The 2 spoons method wasn't working.

Nah. I just buy whatever 24x1" inner tubes are on special offer, don't worry about valves. So, I've ended up with mixed valves after my last blow out.

I can imagine how hard it must be trying to wheel a chair with a flat.

I've been pushing a buggy with one flat and my shoulders are burning with pain.

We arrived in Blackpool to go to the theatre. Within 5 minutes of arriving, I had a puncture thanks to glass on the tram tracks. I pushed around for about 6 hours on one flat. Made for interesting parking in the banked theatre auditorium. My right hand brake obviously wouldn't work so I kept drifting off at an angle. Had to wedge a wheel against the frame of the adjacent seats but made it a complete faff every time Mildred wanted to get out to go to the loo.

The glass got through my Marathon Plus tyres, which is impressive

Had to get back up the vehicle ramp in the multi storey car park afterwards too cos the lifts were broken

I do have strong shoulders. From the tits up, I look lean and mean. Below the tit level, I'm more Michelin woman
