I know I am outing myself as a giant nerd here (no regrets)

But how many other Warhammer/wargamers do we have on fab?

I thought it might be cool to see if anyone would ever be interested in doing a trip to Warhammer world for some games or something?

Play loads of wargames but no GW stuff.

That said, recently I've been getting nostalgic about my old Fantasy Battle days and have been painting the goblins that came in the box I got in 1996!

Been mainly playing Kill Team this year. It’s such a quicker games than 40K and with the smaller team sizes it’s nowhere near the same amount of painting.

40K has become too dumbed down and rules releases are far too frequent these days. A rule book should last more than a couple of years, in some cases they barely last a few months.

Hubby has decided to focus on Heresy and Necromunda. Most of his collection that cant be used in either setting is going on eBay.

Good for us both as it means he can finally declutter his man cave.

Heresy is great even with its slow rules updates to broken units its much more chill gaming though

40k is just wild at moment and it really seems its like a public beta version of 10th we are all testing for them ... GW are a useless company outside of making decent miniatures thats for sure

Yeah the new names can do one. I assume it's a copyright thing, they have ip over the new ones. But they're all shit.

Played starfield for a bit, spent too long in the ship editor. The new game plus system kinda killed it for me though, everything just suddenly felt completely inconsequential.
