On this day 41 years ago the Falkland Islands where once again free from the unwanted, unwarranted occupation by armed forces from thier neighbour Argentina. As we know Freedom never comes FREE , someone always pays a heavy price. 255 brave British service personnel and 3 local female Islanders had paid that price. Many (some of whom I now consider good close friends) still continue to pay it through both physical and mental scars. Today we rejoice in those immortal words ...." the white flag is flying over Stanley ....bloody marvelous " .....HAPPY LIBERATION DAY to The Falkland Islands. ..RIEP The 255 + 3
