Having two grandsons who were both born prematurely, one was a micro preemie and in neo natal units I find it a difficult watch and read when on the news

Must be horrendous to be on that jury.

Cant imagine what they have to go through.

Putting your life on hold for almost 1year and then living with it for the rest of your life.

Baby deaths (unless solid evidence) are difficult to comment on unless you've seen medical reports and tonnes of evidence.

There's been a fair few cases even in this country where people (and medical professionals) who have been convicted of murder or similar and its turned out the baby has died of natural causes years down the line.

I don't know enough about the case to pass a view on it - however it isn't looking good. X

There's a woman in Australia atm who has just been pardoned after serving 20 years for murdering her 3 babies - the court have just found out all 3 babies had a genetic illness that wasn't picked up and may have caused the deaths. The mother was having a psychotic break during the time the babies were killed. She's always maintained her innocence. An interesting case. X
