Kids in the schools near us have been told to make snowmen to help reduce flood risk, but closed the schools during the snow, cos of health and safety

my silly logic on this one is that compacted snow in large shapes would remain colder for longer and prevent snow mass melting all at once...

probs a load of tosh lol

would take a lot of snowmen but that was my crazy thinking.. saves saturating the land/fields all at once though

It's much more obvious!

You make the snowmen..they then fly away at night.. no floods.
