I've just seen the Go Below team have opened The Deep Sleep,

A romantic grotto 1,375ft below Snowdonia/Eryri.

£550 for 12 hours mind

Having looked at the website, I don't think I'd like it. The grotto maybe but the cabins are just like sleeping in a shed

I've been down a goldmine in Johannesburg a couple of times. Other than the fact that you're underground, there's not much to recommend it. Of course, if theres gas or a cave in, you're f***ed.
