It seems for the third day in a row the thunder storms are coming, small price to pay for hot days but some weird people like watching a thunder and lightning storm.

Are you one of those people, if so just why?

Love a good storm. We had a bit here about lunchtime with some heavy rain. Most people were quickly closing their windows, i stuck my head out of mine

I love a good storm. It's been thunder and lightning here for the past hour. It's fascinating.

I love it. Especially when you can see the lightning. Yesterday was a bit disappointing as it was all bang and no flash. I like to count between the flash and bang to work out how far away the storm is

Aside from the odd rumble in the distance and sprinkle of rain nothing here.

Lots of colleagues said they have had some spectacular scenes.

Very close and muggy though.

I love it. I think it’s exciting and interesting to watch, especially the rumbling of the thunder and then waiting on the lightning to strike. I remember a few years ago we had a really bad thunder storm, I sat at my bedroom window watching it for ages

I love the smell, it also improves my breathing.

(Either by my imagination of ions being magical, or coincidence that my hayfever breathing is improved once the rain comes)

Nice to be safe in your house watching nature go full force.

I'm not so keen to be outside in it since a lightning strike hit our drive
