Now... I'm no fan of the lady. But who and why and when did it become ok for pc plod to release details of her arrest and so cast aspersions in the media. Trial by media is so harmful. Whoever they are and whether we like them or not. Innocent until proven guilty. In a court of law and not in fbook.

It's a deflection from what is happening with the Tory party (typical of the MSM which is just a wing of government)

The police haven’t released detail of Nicola Sturgeon have they? As far as I know all they have said is that a 52 year old woman was arrested as part of ongoing inquiries. I believe it was her/the SNP announced that it was actually her.

Months ago when stepping down, Sturgeon was asked by a journalist if it was due to the ongoing Police investigation. She didn't answer the question and instead finished the conference, said byes and walked off. A week or so after her Hub was arrested - so rumours have been stirring for some time.

There's no presumption of guilt only questions surrounding the investigations and arrests like any other politician/public figure being removed, along with questions on released statements or information.

What amazes me is Police Scotland have been at this for two years and still haven't worked out what happened.

That is longer than it took to identify the Lockerbie bombers.

Forensic accounting isn't rocket science.

I mean how does someone who has only ever been a party official of a minor socialist party manage to have £200k in cash that he can lend to the party?
