1970's Mens high heel shoes

I can just about remember my older brother being trendy wearing high heel shoes with flares to the youth center Disco in the seventies. Even then I thought they were fugly. Did anyone wear these? Would you wear them now? Personally I think it should be a crime against fashion with a minimum penalty of a £100 fine!

Yeh,i had a pair of these,untill i fell out of the village disco,limped home and changed into my plymsoles,never wore them again.

I had a pair of size 9 metallic blue platform boots with 4” heels….

Which put me at 6foot 4inches tall, so baring in mind I was only about 10 stone at the time!,,,,,,,I looked like a giant letter “L”

my sister used to go out with brian connolly of the sweet, best mate, he gave me and my brother 2 pairs of his stage shoes, got a 70`s night at our club soon wish id kept them lol

happy to say I never owned any but did borrow a pair once to make my self look taller to get into my first 'X' film at the local flicks (a double bill of Enter the Dragon and Death Race 2000!)
