No Mow May Hedgehog Carnage

It was supposed to benefit wildlife but No Mow May has resulted in devasting injuries to hedgehogs mainly from strimmers and mowers when the cutting restarted. One centre dealt with 88 of these injured animals. The flesh was literally stripped from their bones and few could be saved.

Some vets calling for a ban on no mow May

What's going on here guys? It's all over the news.
