Father's Day

Father's day was never a huge thing in our house as my dad was never really into cards etc though we would send.

As I don't have kids or expect to have them it is never really a huge thing for me either.

This one may be a bit different as its the first since dad passed.

Do you celebrate father's day?

We don’t really celebrate it, we just give our dad a card and a gift and call it a day…no big celebrations or anything

Tho it’s a nice day for seeing all the DILFs (and MILFs)

My dad has passed, the 1st year I still brought a card and put it on his grave (he died a month before Fday)

I buy a token gift for my child to her Dad (separated)

I will be heading to a club on Father's day to off my support to men

I celebrated it when my dad was alive. After he passed away, I didn't for years, although my wife would phone her dad for it.

Then, literally two days before Father's Day 2001, she phoned me at work from her work, where she was sitting in the loo staring at a positive pregnancy test. I've celebrated it ever since.

I lost my dad in 2011 so don't really celebrate it any more.

My boys often get me something on father's day though as I do both

My dad has never made a big deal about fathers day. I get him a card he reads it and puts it on the mantlepiece that's about it.

It's the same for me. My son will get me present every Father's day but if he doesn't it wouldn't be the end of the world

Father's day is a really hard day for me. My dad is still alive and lives 5 miles from me but doesn't speak to me because of a stupid family argument. I've put an olive branch out so many times but my mum stands in the way and it breaks my heart. So a really sad day for me xx

No, my dad died in 1999 so nothing to celebrate.

This will be my first fathers day since getting divorced. I have the kids that day, but have no idea what to do with them. Will be something fun though
