Use an ice pack for 20 mins at a time and try to keep mobile to loosen it up.

A really good massage with warm oils and firm hands. Works a treat.

If you've got the same problem as me - a bloody great syringe filled with steroid pumped into your back

Naaaaah it's nowhere as near bad as it seems. I've got prolapsed disks that are nipping a nerve, the steroid helps it but it doesn't last forever - the next step is an operation

Awww bugger the op, If it ever gets to the point where it's a choice between an op and not being able to walk, I'll take the op, otherwise I'll put up[ with the pain

Enfield

Plenty of painkillers...paracetamol..and ibuprofen taken at staggered 2 hour intervals..my dedicated pain doctor says hit it hard and fast....to break the inflammation/ pain cycle..

Or diazepam.....if u got it....(relaxant = no spasms)

X

Cocodemol, and Ralgex spray. The spray warms you up, and the codeine really does work.
