Is anything still associated with any of the different genders?

(I’m in the kitchen right now, with a tartiflette sizzling away in the oven.)

I cook, I sew, make curtains and upholstery, used to do my wifes clothing alterations etc. Oh yes and cut and style her hair. She was asked by a collegue once in the charity where she volunteered where she got her lovely new hairstyles done, my wife replied my husband does it, oh she replied is he a hairdresser?

Noooooo she replied he's master Carpenter and Joiner. And I was and still am. Sadly my wife passed 8 1/2 years ago.

I was a much better cook than my ex wife. She was a much better driver than me, loved cars and could talk to mechanics. Cars are a means of transport to me, an expensive inefficient one at that.
