Has anyone used one before? Whats your opinion/experiences with them?

They are quite pricey and wondering if they are worth the investment or not

Unless you're in it for the long haul then no, they don't work.

You can get package deals cheap on the likes of Groupon but you'll be bombarded with attempted upsells and you'll need a fair few to have any impact at all.

So think how long you're willing to wait, how much you're happy to spend and what results you're actually expecting before arranging anything.

Razors are far cheaper.

There is a way to stop hair growing but believe me, you really don't want to go down that route

There is a difference between IPL and laser hair removal. I can’t comment on IPL as I had laser and it’s been life changing. One session every 8-10 weeks for about 4-6 rounds and then you just go for an annual top up of maybe one session. I’ve been doing it since I was 27 and I’m still 90% plus hair free it just doesn’t grow anymore. No more shaving rash, ingrown hair or nasty bumps.

The machine that I use is called Cynosure so just google that and on the website you can see your nearest therapist. It does hurt, similar to elastic bands pinging the skin but it’s worth it x

To be honest the pain part isnt really a issue for me

Aww thank you, it would be great to get the stage when shaving isnt a daily routine as my skin cuts so easy i will have a look into it

Definitely do and stay away from the Groupon shite as there’s a reason it’s cheap. Good luck you won’t look back xx

I have a Phillips home IPL machine it was a couple of hundred quid, I did use it for quite a while and although it definitely did slow down hair growth it didn't stop it entirely and it is a lot of maintenance and quite time consuming especially at first when you have to do it quite regularly. It would take me about 45 minutes to do my whole body etc as its quite a slow process making sure you are getting all the areas and waiting for it to bleep. I fell out of a routine which meant I would need to start the process from scratch again and I have been putting it off. But I definitely felt like it did make a difference to my leg and underarm hair in particular as it came back finer and grew much slower (previously I had to shave every other day and then it became one a fortnight or so) but course hair it was less successful with and don't expect to be permanently hair free is my take home experience!

Ah ok i have quite corse hair so maybe its probably not the best solution then

Honestly thats really helped as theres no point is spending hundreds for it to not really work. I guess the razors it is then
