I do think as you get older it can be more difficult for men. I also think there are women/hussies aplenty like me who like older men.

Prior to Covid when I was in my late 70s I had some really good meets, since then my health has deteriorated and although I attract some interest I am unable to follow anything through. Geography also plays a big part with most of the people responding to my profile being over 100 miles away.

I do however have some success in the real world, away from Fab.

Turning 60 I had to check that my cock hadn’t fallen off. I’m sure that’s what some folks assume. Your possibilities reduce as you age. Usually to women and couples your age ish but to compound the ageing effect as women age they still attract younger men. Bit of a double edge sword

Depends on your definition of success.

I was 52 when I joined here with zero experience in anything like this site and I've never had an issue getting meets.

I'm very fussy though so despite having 60+ veries across 4 different profiles in 6 years, less than 10 percent have gone beyond a social.

That's by choice btw do as such I'm happy with my success rate.

My age has never once been a topic for discussion but a lot of people seem to blame their age for their lack of success.

I know several older men that are having a great experience on fab. From comments on the forums it does appear that it can become more of a challenge for some, but I would say those with ‘something about them’ and a pleasant personality seem to do very well. Good luck OP

Older men are far more pragmatic and less bothered.

Younger men have the energy and drive and perhsps bullshit to commit to the chase.

The parameters on women's age ranges can be baffling..(eg 23 to 51),I'm not sure if men are so exact.most would go with a monkey in a dustbin but don't tell the birds that.

Yeah I know my age is wrong on here and I can’t seem to change it.

I don’t feel old but I look it at times.

It can be an hindrance at times as I see some gorgeous profiles of ladies, and their age preference is set at 45! And I understand it’s their choice. But I just don’t think I’m a usual 48 year old guy.

I’m active, adventurous love travelling and socialising. Weirdly travelled with amazing stories.

My current playpartners are 19, 20, 23 and 28 so I don't think I do bad.

Granted none are relationships , I've very little in common with 3 of them but the 23 Yr old has surprisingly good taste in music, movies and we have great conversations.

Everyone has their market.

It's why the site has those lovely age filter options. But one thing I've learnt over the years is that face to face in a club environment people go by looks and attraction. I've never been asked my age in a club. Over the years I've even played with people who when I've gone to verify them later, or them me, we've discovered I was was outside their preferred ages.

Online a lot is black and white. Messages are blocked. You won't show in their searches. But in a club? Anything is possible if you visually look like their 'type'.
