if you have an iphone already then all the apps and music will be stored on itunes.... it just mean that the first sync will take it a long time....

Nope as above everything is held in iTunes or iCloud so just sign in.

First turning on of the phone takes you through every step, you will be fine xx

actually itunes keeps a record of everything you have purchased.. so you don't pay for anything twice.... (in both the music store and the app store it is one of the quick links you can go into... I didn't know till a couple of weeks ago, if you are one of these figiters who are always changing the apps on the phone)

Ok another question, I plug phone in to lap top to sync and got told to download iTunes again as data missing, well something like that. I have done that and now it's been ages saying unregistering iTunes automation server. Anyone tell me how long this will take please?

"as easy as an STI "

This only applies to car phones as they're prone to "Van Aerial Desease".

Before you do anything go on iTunes and back up your phone then get new one and restore back up it will keep it there.
