I see it all the time, 'discretion is a must'

I mean, I don't exactly hand out flyers or post my meets on Facebook with all the details and photos. So how exactly can you be not discreet? I've wondered about this a lot.

But it doesn't mean I'm going to cover up your cheating , or not be seen in public with you etc.

I'm bi but I don't parade in rainbows etc.

But it seems to vary in meaning for many

To me, it means that what we do together is strictly between us and if you see me in public afterwards, then we don’t acknowledge that we have ever met in any way, shape or form.

No photos, no videos and basically no contact outside of Fab unless it’s an arranged meet.

This too. I'm discreet because I like my sex life privacy & my work would not be understanding if it was blasted. But equally I don't hide in public or from my friends.

Those who hide or can't be civil/ social out of bed - that's fair enough, but not for me. Same with Cheaters - Too much fall out risk & unreliability.

for me i work in a very public job and have to do a lot of networking and face to face meets with people so dont want my personal activities to be talked about, i am also a widower so likewise having young children i wouldnt want them to know about this either.

I think it's an ambiguous term that only makes sense to those who purport it, rightly or wrongly. If I see a profile featuring "discreet" written somewhere I just acknowledge it without worrying about the subtext.

It's no different than comments such as "hygiene is a must" which, along with being "discreet", aren't 'discrete' in their usefulness.

People are potentially far too cynical on here to make assumptions. It means just what it says unless proven otherwise. There will be some that may want to hide something or whatever but mostly people have lots of other less sinister reasons or just don't want to shout it from the rooftops. Those who do, fair enough to them. No need to castigate others that don't. Same if they can't accommodate. Might be just as simple as they don't want to, or live with family, or have very nosey neighbours or whatever. As long as they make that clear, it's their business and others should mind theirs imo.

We've already seen people we know on here.

No friends list on profile.

No verifications on profile to read.
