I'm an Evertonian, so used to the randomness of Moyes tactics and a team that can look like top 4 one week and Sunday league the next. But always had a bit of a soft spot for West Ham - Tony Cottee, obviously Di Canio - and I'd like to see them do well, plus, if Rice is going they deserve a trophy to soften the blow | |||

Controlling possession to create chances has never been the forte of this Moyes team. Exploiting space on the counter is how we will win and this Fiorentina team provide the perfect opportunity for Moyes' favoured tactic. "Didn't see the game, but well done the 'ammers. Nice to see a British team do well, and it seemed to slip under the radar of a lot of media." I thought the opposite but perhaps that is due to being in London and also all the algorithms sending me West Ham news. I felt BT really pushed the boat out even airing the match for free to everyone via Youtube and giving so much air time to the occasion. If you Google West Ham United you will even see fireworks on the screen. Pretty massive. | |||
