Threads on here have made me think, do YOU use the search function before putting a thread up? If not why?

I don't, never have, knew it was there, but just don't use it.

I just commented on this in the apologies thread, I don't think a lot of people are aware of it. I've only used it a couple of times myself. X

The thing is it may not bring up the subject anyway as people may name a thread differently to the subject matter.

I use it but I'm thinking I don't actually appear on anyone elses search or the message system relating to my profile isn't working or something technical and nothing to do with me at all whatsoever before you say is preventing a great many people from contacting me.

Yes I do and always have, also use the view recent threads you've posted to as often wander off and forget where I was!

I only use it if i want to refer back to an old thread, otherwise i dont. Ive been here long enough to no which and when topics are repeated.

I have and more than likely will repeat threads. Its not always the same posters who use these forums. If a person has come across a repeated thread before they can choose to ignore it, however it could be a welcomed new subject of discussion for a new user.
