I chat to a few totally confirmed straight guys on here and there is nothing other than just been nice friendly guys to chat to. All my male friends are 100% straight too. Not even fab straight. There are filters to use if anyone is that concerned. Most people DO understand if someone is straight not to cross boundaries. It seems though that some straight people feel the need to constantly assert their preferences for no apparent reason. When I befriend prople I am not interested in their sexuality, just them as people. The majority of people respect other's preferences, no need to highlight excemptions as the tabloid papers do when they are keen to stigmatise certain sections of society.That's my opinion. We are all different, all we need is respect for one another "I don't have any bi or gay friends. In fact I'd go so far as saying I don't actually know any bi or gay men within my social or business circle so I've never once been propositioned or challenged and never had to assert that I'm straight. It's never been a topic of conversation. I have all men blocked but even before I did that I didn't get messages from other men offering a bj so again in relation to private messages I've never had to explain to anyone else or say thanks but no thanks based on my sexuality. The only time I've ever had to assert that I'm straight is when I have been directly challenged here in the forums and told that I'm repressing my true desires or that I'm narrow minded. Most times I've chosen to ignore their ignorance but every now and again I push back because some believe it's acceptable. I've never asked a gay or bi person to justify their preference so I don't see the need for them to ask me to do so. | |||
