I have found the response on dating sites suddenly fries up once you pay. Sadly apathy is very common. They used to be so much fun

I upgraded my tinder once a good while back. What you are paying for is to see who already likes you so if someone tickles your fancy you can match straight away.

I actually found it a little depressing, there were lots who had “liked” me but very very few that I actually wanted to date

I tend to be wary on liking those that have paid subscriptions as they may well just message out of boredom, not out of wow factor. Any holes a goal and all that.
