In the right moment, using the terms 'good girl' or 'bad girl' can really enhance the experience for Mrs A.

In the wrong moment, not so much.

Perspective and situational mindset make all the difference.

It's about separating it between what it means to us in a day to day setting, and losing yourself in the moment.

It's a definition of open minded, being able to view it, appreciate it from both angles.

In my opinion, anyway.

This is what I mean about perspective.

Day to day life, if I was to say good girl to Mrs A, she'd either laugh or put me right.

She does though at times like to be subservient, not in a ddlg way, that really isn't our thing, but in a way to serve, to do as she's told, almost like the fantasy secretary role, and in those moments, said at the right time can tip her over the edge.

The term is used in very different ways, similar to saying someone is the biggest dick you've met, and being excited because it's the biggest dick you've had.

If I'm presenting fem and in a kinky situation where my goal is to do as I'm told and pleasure the person I'm with exactly as they require me to it can be quite validating and sexy to be called "good girl"

Also if I'm being spanked and I successfully take a sustained period of punishment it can be a nice reward.

It can definitely be creepy as hell in the wrong context by the wrong person. I think if I was a woman it would be condescending but being non binary and using sex to feel gratification and be seen as like a woman it can really turn me on.

"Thoughts on calling or being called it during sex? Is it for you?!"

Funny one for me this.

In a fun dom sub moment it is something that I think could turn me on. But due to a fucking idiot years ago it takes me out of the moment and to place that is less enjoyable. So I generally ask for this not to be used.

However I also like to rebel. So if I hadn't had that shitty experience I suspect that someone calling me good girl would very much make me want to stop what I am doing so that I could be a bad girl.

If someone called me good girl in any other situation in work or life then they would absolutely not be receiving fun responses.

"Is it a power trip for the person saying it?

In some dynamics, I guess it could play a part, like a sub dom situation.

And in that case, that's the whole point. "

I don't think it's a power trip when saying it, yes in a dynamic there is one but not in that particular moment for me

"Is it a power trip for the person saying it?

Why would it be a power trip to praise someone? "

Because presumably the person being praised isn't a child but the term "good girl" is infantalising and absolutely has a power dynamic to it. Try saying "good girl" to any adult in any other situation and see if they feel like they're being talked down to.

I mean, if their dynamic is sub dom, then to use the term is playing the dynamic.

I don't think using it alone is necessarily a power trip.

I agree, saying it alone is simply just either praise or possibly taking the piss depending on tone

Yes everyone is different but I can't see how there isn't am imbedded power dynamic in someone calling someone else "good girl". It's praise but it's from a perspective of authority or power regardless of how minute that might be.

I'm not saying it implies a strict D/s dynamic or anything really kinky but there's a reason why the majority of women in this thread find it a turn off. It's a phrase with so much weight to it and can illicit very strong responses because of how much meaning it carries. If someone is sucking your cock just right and you say "yeah just like that" it's a mostly neutral phrasing but if you say "good girl" that is putting yourself in a position of some power regardless of how small.

Not saying it's a bad thing but I don't think you can call someone a good girl without there being an implication that in that moment at least you are assuming dominance over the person you are saying it to. Outside of sex "good boy" and "good girl" are 99% exclusively used by an authoritive figure to give praise to someone younger for their behaviour. The reason it's used in sex is always going to have at least a slight power dynamic behind it.

Personally I think saying yeah just like that is more of a power trip than saying good girl, that's my view on it.

If a guy at a woman's football match says yes, good girl for a good tackle or goal etc then I really don't think she's going to mind and think he's on a power trip because she's a adult

"Yuck. Hate it.

I’m no one’s little girl.

Little girl and good girl are 2 completely different things

That’s what I hear tho !

It's praise and nothing more, no adult is a little girl or boy

It’s praise only if you like it. Just sounds creepy to me

Praise isn't for everyone, if it's not for you then it's not for you "

I like praise just not in a derogatory way which is how I would see it if a man said that to me.

But everyone likes different things. This is just my take on it

I think if you see an adult woman excelling at her job and your response is to say "good girl" you're being condescending and demonstrating your perceived power over someone whether you realise it or not. I've never been at a football match and heard someone shout "good boy" when a player makes a well timed tackle. Nor have I been in any situation ever where someone has called a man a good boy for doing his job correctly. We're getting into the politics of gender a bit and the double standards around how men and women are perceived in power structures but if you don't agree that's fine. I personally don't think it's possible to call a woman a good girl in any situation and there not be a power dynamic, whether intentional or not.

I think you're being presumptions about it and making it something it's not.

I've seen plenty of guys being called a good boy myself included in work and none of them got flakey about it.

Words only have the power someone gives them if they don't actually have any control over you.

WOW… To be fare that does sound a really strange work place if you get told that alot.

I work in management and would never dream of saying to my colleagues good girl or good boy sounds very unprofessional and creepy. "

I completely agree with that.

"If a guy at a woman's football match says yes, good girl for a good tackle or goal etc then I really don't think she's going to mind and think he's on a power trip because she's a adult

I guess they're carefree and think nothing of it, life's easier when you don't take things seriously

"Thoughts on calling or being called it during sex? Is it for you?!

Brucey, old thing, I’ll be honest - I haven’t read any posts above.

But are you basically hinting you want daddy to call you a good girl whilst he makes sweet love to you?

That’s the gist of it

I knew it!! Right, people (and I may have missed this as well, for which I apologise), we need the biggest raging bull on fab. A muscle bound alpha dog with a massive swinger and roid rage to make Brucey his good girl.

Big Harold "

I would pay to watch this

More aggressive than sweet I'd say?

Good to hear! I’m now thinking of finding a venue with tiered seating and catering. Then we can all watch the ritual pounding of Brucey’s poor poochute.

I’ll flog tickets for £25 a pop for standard viewing, £35 if you want to examine the devastation up close. £40 gets you backstage to meet the dastardly doer afterwards.

Binoculars £5

Do you know what Bruce? Because you get a bit of a hard time on here, I'll reply properly.

I don't really give a fuck if people think less of me or whatever.

Yep, sometimes I love it. Believe me, if it was said in a patronising tone I'd be the first to be up in arms about it.

But a man fucking me, in front of a full length mirror, my hair in his fist as he calls me his good girl for taking his cock so well? Or even when he spanks me and when he's finished, kisses the top of my forehead and calls me a good girl. Don't get me started on my love of being facefucked.

Yep, it's hot. I don't know why I love it so much - possible praise kink? It's not something I need or even want every time. But with the right dynamic it's something I love to hear.

Nobody should think less of someone for being honest, it's a good thing

You really do paint a pretty picture with your words as always
